Fast And Free looks very well placed in the Skipton Hcp, 1630 at Flemington on Saturday. Thought he had every chance when he saw daylight last start, finishing 3rd to Shout Out Loud. Fitter for that run, 3rd up here and looks the one to beat. Worked solidly on Tuesday morning over 1200m, clocking 1.21 and 36.33 last 600m. Cherry ripe!
Go The Knuckle resumes for master trainer Robert Smerdon in the Red Tempo Hcp, 1000m. Has a touch of class and in the right hands to pull off a first up win. Worked nicely on Tuesday over 800m, clocking 50.75 and 37.85 last 600m. Monitor marlet moves very closely.

Hotham Heights ran a cracker of a race last start, rattling home for 3rd behind Catapulted. Worked well during the week, will run well again.
Al Aneed is the class runner of the field in the Fiesta Star Hcp, 1200m. Freshened up for this after running 5th in the Sandown Guineas. Track work has been outstanding, no excuses here. Tuesday morning he worked with Mandla over 800m in 48.67 and 22.85 last 400m.
The Mick Price trained Mandla is racing very well this time in and a win doen't look too far away. 3rd up Friday night under lights at Moonee Valley in the Mailing Solutions Plate, 1200m. Recent trackwork has been first rate, Tuesday morning he strode over 800m in 48.67 and 22.85 last 400m.

Hard Romp and Prince Stratum must also rate as live chances.
Doctor Hill deserves a crack in town, he'll face the starter in the Major Putts Vic Hcp, under lights Friday, 2500m. Ordinary race on paper, he will run out the trip and should be thereabouts at the business end. Tuesday morning he wasn't pushed hard, working over 1600m in evens , home last 400m in 24.10.
Keep an eye on market moves for the Peter Moody trained Lady Kravanh, in the Sweeney Estate Agents Mile, Friday night Moonee Valley. Was placed behind Silent Achiever in NZ over 2100m. Goes well fresh, her NZ form suggests she's above average and one to follow this time in. Worked nicely on Tuesday morning over 1200m, clocking 1.23 and 37.22 last 600m.
Queens Ransom was disappointing when resuming on her home track in Saturday grade. Her track work has been excellent, prepared to forgive her on that lack lustre first up run. She'll step up to 1200m in the Mitchelton Wones Hcp, Friday night. Worked beautifully on Tuesday morning over 800m, clocking 49.94 and 23.36 last 400m.
